Sure, I'll give it a shot. Hayate no Gotoku is all comedy though so don't go in expecting any sort of deep plot. It has a lot of references to other animes. For example, there is a bust of Conan in the mansion in the 2nd episode. It's the anime fan's anime. I love the humor in it though, and it's great at making fun of itself. The combat is good too, but it's the comedy that keeps me coming back.
