I haven't even played it. Just going by video I think it's more impressive than anything else out there.

 

 

Gears 2 is VERY OVERRATED when it comes to visuals(imo).. and  I ofcourse had the oppurtunity for a first hand experience.

I sort of put Gears 2 and Killzone 2 in the same boat.  Both of them clearly have very good graphics, but I don't think either game really looks all that good.  The realism is there, but the overall visual style is uninspired and dreary.
