Some people have exceedingly low standards. I personally do not get excited about games being released again in a new format. Call me a prude, but I only get excited over new games. You could have had and played any of these games if you had really cared. There are bargain bins, and these things called emulators which were already meeting these needs.
This is Lucasarts milking their old games for every nickle they are worth nothing more. Nice that you have another option to play them, but hardly something to get excited about. More to the point it is not newsworthy every developer does this these days.
Oh and I think if you made a pole of which people would have preferred. A new game for a great franchise, or old games being made available for digital download. You would probably see the vast majority would have wanted a new high profile game. Rather then digital download for games that are already in their collection.
