Aha, the press release contains some interesting information:
Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition will be released on July 15th and Steam will not be the only PC distribution platform. I hope LucasArts have heard about GOG.

Indiana Jones, Loom and other adventures will be re-released, but no word (yet) about if they will run on modern systems without ScummVM now.
