Dodece's advice is good if your brother is a lazy lout. But I don't get that impression. If I also get technical in dissecting what you said, she said procrastination right? Not, he doesn't have his life together and doesn't get any shit done. Procrastination can be fine, if the work gets done in the end.
If your brother is a lazy lout like Dodece suggests, then he needs to get his life in order for his own good, despite whatever a woman tells him. But if he's not, like I get the feeling of, then he should tell her that if she cannot accept him for who he is and for what he enjoys in life, then they should not be together anyway. Being in a committed relationship does take work and sacrifice, but the groundwork of the two people wanting to be with each other for who they are should be there first.
Really, if she sticks to this ultimatum, and your brother feels gaming is a serious past time, something that he really enjoys, then he should tell her she can leave. This issue goes beyond just gaming. If she is dictating to him what he can do in his spare time, when it is not detrimental to his life (unless Dodece is right), it will not stop with 'gaming' and will only be worse if they do end up getting married.
