if you take the time to ask yourself.. which parts of killzone 2 look better? you'll find that the answers you get are all based on "it looks more realistic".
think about it this way: does killzone 2 have better graphics than littlebigplanet? yeah, in the realistic sense. but aside from that, no.
graphics is not all about realism. sometimes art is preferred over that. think about paintings.. abstract painters may be all up on cocaine and whatnot, but their works are highly regarded, given much more respect than a simple photograph.
now if you put the argument to realistic games vs. artistic games (Halo 3 is a mix of both, since it's a shooter with alien themes), it looks simply like this.
killzone 2 = photograph
littlebigplanet = painting
you can either like one or the other, but you can't compare them. only a fool compares a photo and a painting.
