A game being 50$ and attach ratio to consoles being about 8 max, the average custommer spends 400$ + 200$ (console) on games per gen (don't forget discounted games etc...).
A hard core gamer would have 2-3 consoles and 2x the games so count a budget of 1800$ for a 5 year gen.... that's only 400$ a year.
For music, I doubt many people buy more than 1 album a week (I would see this as hard core personnally) that's still 15$*52 or 750$ a year
a Person living a grand 100 years will therefore spend about 1150*100 on hardcore gaming and music listening. that's only $115 000....
One can see this as a reason not to pirate... others can see this as how extreemly stupid the sums of these lawsuits are...especially since the mother sharing only 24 songs is not likely to be a hardcore anything....
