I dont think its smart to compare it to GOD OF WAR..

Why not? Because God of War will run over and crush Dante's Inferno?

No it won't. I think Dante's Inferno will sell somewhere between Dead Space (1.4 million on PS360) and Devil May Cry 4 (2.4 million on PS360).

See...I don't get this, as if GOW was this AMAZING franchise that totally dominated.  According the VGC, and this info might be incorrect, I don't know for certian, but here are the numbers for GOW Franchise:

http://www.vgchartz.com/games/index.php?name=god+of+war

GOW - 3.21M

GOW2 - 2.47M

GOW PSP - 1.76M

So...expecting GOW to deliver some overwhelming numbers, given the tepid results of ps3 exclusives to-date is unrealistic.  I'm sure GOW3 is going to have a solid performance, and it might even top a combined Dante's Inferno sales number, but it's certianly not a shoo-in to do so, especially based on comparatives.

Based on the info provided so far, Dante's Inferno looks to be a Assasin Creed-like multi-platform performer, imho.

I agree about your view on God of War, it's not some kind of untouchable supergame. Far from it.

Anyway, your last line, what do u mean "DI looks to be a AC-like multi-platform performer"? Do u mean DI will get low 80's on gamerankings just like AC, or it will sell many millions like AC?

Maybe both, but I was thinking about upside surprise of quality.
