You'll need Pro or above and a virtualization-capable processor in order to use this (which I apparently have), apparently it's a hassle to set up and run (a minor issue), and its performance and compatibility are suspect - I'd have to actually test this before deciding on anything. Then again, IF it works as intended, you might be onto something here. |
I've been using the beta and RC. The XP virtual machine wasn't a problem to set up. Basically just run an exe or two and then taking time, but wasn't difficult. I haven't done extensive tests on performace or compatibility on it, but most of the games I've played have run on 7 anyhow or required Dos Box, which XP required too. Do you know of any specific programs or games that are supposed to have trouble? If I have it, I can look into it.
