Having a University Degree from a "Good School" doesn't really make anyone more qualified to run a lemonade stand let alone a massive country.

Well, if I owned a lemonade stand, I'd rather have a graduate from Harvard or Yale running it than some fool who had trouble getting out of community college.

Quite the elitist point of view. You fit the Democratic agenda perfectly.

Since when is it elitist to think that somebody with an education knows more than somebody who doesnt.

Using your logic, its elitist to go to the doctor when your sick instead of going to a carpenter.

Strictly speaking it is elitist, but most people misunderstand what elitism is. Elitism just means that the people who are most qualified should necessarily be the ones in power. The smart should rule over the less-smart, and so forth.

Elitism is a perfectly valid perspective, and I would say you do hold it. Don't be upset just because people misinterpret what that word means.
