Actually, most people on this forum said the 360 price cut was a non entity and that the PS3 would continue to steam roll it. Look how that turned out. There was an entire thread of predictions of when the PS3 would pass the 360 in sales, and 99% of the people are pretty much already wrong. You can say, "well they did not know about the price cut", but I think it was pretty obvious the 360 was going to be getting a cut at some point in the future.
