Why are some of you quoting retail pricing? Who actually buys retail with a new PC?(or an old one for that matter some of you are too ethical) Wait till it ships and get the OEM version.

XP Pro OEM $139
Vista Home Premium Retail $224
Vista Home Premium OEM $99
Win 7 Home Premium $199
best guess for Win7 HP OEM $99
Difference between OEM and Retail: OEM wont do an upgrade from a previous OS. Just back up your data or buy an upgrade version. Fresh install FTW IMO and you wont have to find the disc from your previous version if you ever do a reinstall.
