I haven't played in a while, so I've probably forgotten a few facts already. The whole time-travelling ability seemed off to me. For some reason I felt that Kessler gained that from the Ray Sphere. By the way, if Cole got his powers from the Ray Sphere, where did Kessler get his?
Gameplay-wise, I'd like to see more utilization of different elements. Rocks and bullets are fun, but can we ever get into fire or maybe ice if possible?
