Mario kart wii would be boring without online just like any fps that is just your typical fps... Rts games need online too because AI is too dumb to have fun with. I need a challenge in games and every game I played is too easy. Yeah, metroid prime 2 was too easy even though I died loads of times, still too easy. I wouldn't mind a metroid with a decent online tbh. It's not needed because I buy that game for its great singleplayer, but it would be a nice extra.
