One thing people need to clear out is the fact that ps3's failure rate is below 1%. So the 200$ repairs are less likely to happen, unless people treats their console like an utter crap.
IF needed to repair, then the ps3 is more expensive than the 360.
But that's not the case for every ps3's out there, only a bunch have had problems.
So yes, the ps3 is cheaper.If you would like everything the ps3 has to offer on a 360,then the 360 would be more expensive.
