Considering IP difficulties every now and then, current download times / streaming abilities (Full quality 1080p, 7.1 audio => ~20,000 MB) and me preferring high profile games and movies stored on physical media, I surely hope not, at least not until the internet is near fully reliable and fast enough to either fully stream the data or download the movie well within an hour and if without proper streaming options also just when Terrabyte harddrives are mainstream and more reliable (my 5 year old IBM Deskstar 160GB PC harddrive, is currently being looked at if the drive can be repaired, loss of data is certain if it's not totally kaput already). |
Its coming just look at Steam and the countless movie --> computer download services. Ready or not 5 year old Deskstar the future is coming.
