I imagine this is the last gen we'll be having 9GB DVDs, but there are many other alternatives to Blu-ray. Even if they do choose it, there are so many companies sharing the rights for the format, that that royalties will hardly fill the holes in Sony's pockets.
How many companies was it that own Blu-ray btw?
