Here is few another things, which I forgot to put my first post.
- Game isn't actual horror game even atmosphere is very tormenting. Fighting against darkness is more like from action game than horror game (So no gimped Resident Evil 5 controls here. Yippee for that!!! That is probably reason why some game sites did put Alan Wake and Uncharted 2 to same category in they E3 listing).
- You can play game trough from start to finish even today. Now it's only about bug fixing and polishing. And Remedy have always kept they release dates (They haven't newer says any release time for Alan Wake before E3 09).
- They did need to build a lot of new tools from scratch to make this game possible been made by so small team (30 people in start, although team has grown a lot over 40 people + subcontractors over time). Making those tools has take much more time than they first did anticipated. One of those tools is WorldEditor, which reminds a bit Far Cry 2 field editor. They also uses automatic script bases tasking, which enables totally new way to do things in game. (Let's see how many games they will do with these tools. It would be really nice if they publish these tools to public like they did do with Max Payne 2 tools some time after release).
