everyone angry about this decision need to build a bridge and get over it, seriously, it's a modern era, just play online with ur friends, or buy multiple copies of the game, lets say 5, install it on 5 comp in your house then all play online together but in the same room, yes its not cost effective, but it is legal and a perfectly good functioning way to do it, and when bliazzard says battle.net 2 will be good enough that u won't need lan, why not trust them, is there a reason not to, they have great experiance with online games and making stable servers, plus with battle.net you will get stat tracking and the ability for u and your friends to play against randoms instead of only each other, really, unless ur a filthy pirate, or have VERY poor internet, I can see NO way in which this has any negative impact. Also, one the issue of the campaigns, the missions sound awesome!! roleplaying a ghost, and lava spills, and even night zombies sounds insanely cool, I'm sure the missions wont all be, kill the cerebreate or kill the nexus like starcraft one, even brood war had some good variation though, in short, i'm MORE hyped now because I know blizzard are incredibly confident that new battle.net will rock because they have ditched lan
