Try to think of it as what they call it: Stealth ACTION. In the bourne movies he has to be very stealthy but it's also very action packed and very suspenful.
That's the style they're really going for. Make you feel as if you were playing one of those bourne movies.
It also makes sense that you have to be more agressive. You are entirely on your won. You're infiltrating places which you think have answers and you need to find those answers with brute force. The enemy isn't just gonna give them to you because you got in without being noticed. At one point you have to confront the enemy.
