Back to the topic at hand, DSL and PSP 3000 are WAY better choices. I like PSP-3000 better because of it s non-gaming functionality, bigger screen and modding capability.
Downloadable games have also increased its value in my opinion. with an 8GB card I have at the very least 7-8 games available at any time with no cartridges to worry about. PS1 classics also look MUCH better on PSP than they ever did on a TV.
People who complain about no dual analog stick should consider the fact that PSP actually HAS one. DS doesn't and most games that I have played on the DS don't use the stylus too much (I play mostly SRPGs and RPGs).
