My experience has been drastically different from most people.
My DSL has lost battery charge within a few hours while it is shut (stand by mode). You can imagine my frustration after playing for a couple of hours, putting it in standby mode to get dinner, come back and find the battery is completely drained. I have never seen it run for more than 4-5 hours. It has gotten to a point that I always keep the wall charger close by.
