@pbroy, I agree with you bro. The platinum & greatest hit box cases are horrible and I try my best to avoid those when I go to Gamestop. I remember when I really wanted Dead Rising on the Xbox 360. So I looked on the used shelf and only saw the platinum box case. I was pissed because I wanted the original so I took it to the counter and the cashier was like is this it. And I was like yes but I want the green box case for Dead Rising is that possible. And he looked in the cabinet and found it for me and that was that.
But I totally agree if the box art isn't sexy or eye-candy awesome, then I will avoid the game totally!
But I do research on my games before purchase, like flaws i.e. controls, gameplay-wise before actually purchasing
