Is the Wirtz family rich? I don't know too much about their finances. If they are, then it shouldn't really be a problem, but if they aren't they might have to give them an increasing salary structure, so that their salary goes up, when Hossa's salary is coming down.
Khabibulin to Edmonton, 4 years 15 million (3.75M/year). That's a great price for Edmonton, but the term might be long. The contract will end when he's 40, and if he retires at any point before that, Edmonton is on the hook for his cap hit.
