You got it when you bought WiiSpeak... the voucher came in the box... I hope you didn't throw it away... It is necessary... You download it from the the WiiShop channel...

I did everything you said. It still doesn't work.

 

Has anyone used the Wii Speak yet?

Have you actually used the WiiSpeak channel? It should tell you to update... You can check by looking at your history... If it says "WiiSpeak 2.0" instead of just "WiiSpeak Channel", then you're updated...

 

Also, it won't work through a pass-thru/usb hub. it has to plug in DIRECTLY TO THE Wii. Also, run the setup test on the WSChannel...

I did all this. The Speaker works, I even saw the blue light. Tested it and everything. But just for the record, I haven't spoken to anyone on multiplayer yet. I still see the small mic on the bottom right hand side of the screen with a slash through it. Anyone else have that?
