Unfortunately whereas this can be seen as good news for Sony fans I am pretty sure that this will not go unoticed.
September is my bet for a release mainly because this would be the best time to maximise the Holiday/Xmas period. I think they still have a mountain to climb but if the price is right and not to many corners cut this will put them in the frame for the end of the year.
Although, expect the unexpected especially that time of year when the other console guys try to out do each other.
