How large you actually "percieve" a screen being, actually involves a non-trivial amount of Projective Geometry. Size means nothing without knowing the viewing distance (and angle) and DPI. Invoking the analogy used earlier in thread, whether or not a 50 inch tv is going to be preferred over a 42 inch tv which both have the same dpi depends on how far you are sitting. At a distance of 3 feet you are going to prefer the 42. At a distance of 20 feet you are going to prefer the 50.
Think about the difference between how a Go would probably be held versus a normal PSP and about the relative angles you would comfortably hold both of them. It doesn't seem too far fetched that given the differences in ergonomics and the lighter weight, all things being equal, users would tend to hold a Go significantly closer to their faces.
