It is star fox adventures

Do you think MS would be stupid enough to buy 51% of Rare (Stamper brothers part) if they didn't didn't have an agreement with Nintendo for the other 49%? If Nintendo didn't want to sell their part, MS would never buy Stampers' shares and, in the end, Nintendo would have bought the other 51% for less than half of MS paid (because Stampers really wanted (needed) to sell it.

Honestly, and assuming you know Nintendo's history, do you really think they would miss a super deal like that if they thought it worth it?

I'm not really sure what you are talking about.  See that big post of mine for the Rare-Nintendo-Microsoft history.

Dsister44 is right on the Dinosaur Planet thing.  Nintendo had them add the Star Fox characters to the game and it became Star Fox Adventures.  Notice how there are a bunch of dinosaurs in the game.

Read the posts before and you'll see what I was talking about ;)

Microsoft didn't need a deal with Nintendo.  The Stamper brothers bought back the 49% that Nintendo owned before selling the company to Microsoft.  And before you ask, yes Nintendo knew that was what the Stampers planned to do.

I was not going to ask, because I knew. It's the same I said before, in other words.

The point is... Rare wasn't tired of Nintendo... they needed to sell their shares, MS wanted to buy the company, Nintendo found the offer a good deal... everybody wins.
