What's with the upsetness over the price?
$249.99 == bigger cut for retailers who dont' get to sell software for the device.
Do you guys think retail will sell these units out of kindness to Sony? They sell PSP-3000 units near cost, because they make money on software sales. The PSP Go they won't see a dime from after the initial sale, unless its a memory stick, or accessory, or something. Retailers exist to make money, and Sony wouldn't be able to move these units without the retailers.
Hence, the $249.99 pricetag. Digital software is good for everyone... but retail (and pirates). It amazes me that this isn't more blatently obvious on a supposed sales-focused site.
