Well I'm glad you are charitable to people, that is nice. But anyone saying a PS3 is worth 1000 Euro ($1402 USD) is just trying to bait folks

People in the past paid more than that just to play Doom with decent quality.

Thousands of PS3s have been resold for over 2000 dollars around launch at websites such as Ebay. So, my comment (which is true for me) does not seem extreme at all.

At 1000 Euro, the profit margin wouldn't even be that much on the hardware. Taking into account additional costs next to component/manufacturing costs, such as taxes, shipping, retailer share, support, marketing, etc.

If you want good proft margins maybe invest in panty shields, they cost about 0,02 to 0,2 cents to produce and are being sold for many many times this amount.

And what does it matter how many shares of Sony I own

I was just pointing out the obvious. Even if I paid a million euro for a PS3, have you calculated how much of this "profit" ends up in your pocket even if owning a million euros worth of shares?

It was just a response to your own comment. How many times have you now repeated you own Sony stock here on VGChartz and at other places like AW? Why should people care reading these different thread topics?

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
