I learned this about a couple weeks after I came back from TGS 2008. You may find people that care , but for the most part, don't count on it. Think of VGC as your hobby, a place to give your opinion and crack jokes and have fun. People naturally tend to avoid personal issues. Especially others.

I wasn't airing dirty laundry, I was just explaining why I will be MIA for the next couple of weeks... And angling for a few responses, regardless of the poster's intentions with said response... In other words I was opening myself up to ridicule as much as to respectful well-wishes...
