I'm seeing it tonight. I can't wait.

On another note, because of the sales of tickets for Transformers, this year is on track for a record breaking year at the box office. Now that the year has reached the halfway mark, it is now at 5.17 billion for the total gross of the year. Also, the second half of the year has the busiest holidays (July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas) so if the trend keeps up it'll be the first year where the yearly movie total gross has reached 10 billion dollars..

Recession? What recession?!?

Actually, if I recall, ticket sales (as well as other forms of relatively cheap entertainment) seem to go up during harder times. Something to the tune of trying to escape the troubles of daily life for a couple of hours. Although, buying games would provide a cheaper form of entertainment (in terms of dollars spent per hour of entertainment).
