Since when is Bungie a graphical powerhouse game maker to claim this: "join our small but high powered graphics team."

Since when? Since they made Halo 3 that is almost possible on the original xbox and doesn't use any of the 360's power and looks like shit when compared to Gears 2????

I don't think so.

Oh dear. You have no idea do you. Halo 3 never gets credit for it's technical achievements. And mainly because the devs never went for photo realism. When you actually look at what the Halo 3 engine is capable of, you wouldn't be saying what your saying.

The game is the only game this gen to have both HDR and LDR running on 2 seperate buffers. 2 sets of resolutions. All the while having the most enemies on the screen of any current gen FPS, and all of that with split screen 4 PLAYER! And to top that further whilst the engine is doing all that it's recording the entire playthrough, every step, every shot, every movement of every human and non human player. Where you can pause freely move the camera completely around the level.

Hmmmm Bungie gave us the best FPS this gen, such an amazing game. And they didn't compromise the games quailty ( features, gameplay) for the sake of having photorealistic graphics. They stuck to the Halo artistry. Thank god.

However Halo Reach can essentially be different in looks, as it's not directly associated with MC. So they could just do a KZ2 killer, change the engine. Have no split screen multiplayer, 15 - 20 less enemies on screen, no game recording, only one buffer instead of 2. They could then use all that power to make the best looking game ever. But then again, I'd rather the gameplay be more than Halo 3 not less. We dont want the series to go backwards now.

ODST looks considerably better than Halo3, and looks like they have upped the resolution already to.

Halo Reach will be twice ODST visuals but with even more features that the engine has to cope with.
