famousringo - the Amiga was sold mainly as a gaming computer (not at first) with all games officially licensed by Commodore.
The Playstation 3 is as much a personal computer as the Amiga was? In regards to the PS3 - does it "compute" and can you personally own one? Simple question? In normal society, the term PC relates to 486 onwards IBM compatibles.
I have never heard in my life someone call their Amiga a PC or a Mac owner call his Mac a PC.
