I guess you haven't noticed that this site's primary purpose is to track the sales of game consoles, and PC games are an entirely peripheral concern. I think you're on the wrong site.

You can hack linux onto just about anything with a processor, but it doesn't change the fact that the product Sony is selling you is designed to run only software licensed by Sony, with an explicit focus on video gaming. Intent matters.
