On the contrary, I grew up on a Commodore 64.
I also know that the letters P.C. stand for Personal Computer and encapsulates an entire range of products beyond IBM compatible computers.
So you guys think we should just go ahead and add the PET 8, Vic 20, Commodore 64, Commodore 128, Amiga, Atari ST, Apple I, Apple II, Macintosh, Mac OS X, DOS, Windows 3, Windows 95, Windows XP, TRS-80, and God only knows how many other platforms I'm missing.
Or, we could roll tham all into PC for the sake of convenience, because these are all personal computers.
Edit: Oh, and no, consoles aren't PCs, because they're closed down systems optimized to run video games explicitly licensed to be run on the platform. PCs are designed to run whatever the hell code the owner wants to run on them.
