there isnt any guarantee that the ps3 version of vesperia will actually come to NA.
However, I do have both and played through both. If I were to choose one that enjoyed more it would probably be Lost Odyssey. They both have their problems with annoying characters which is typical of any JRPG. However, LO's story is really well told, although it fizzles out in the end.
As it is, they are pretty much even to me with LO barely inching out over vesperia. I think you would be happy with either one though, so it is up to you.
