$150 Blu-Ray player already on shelves (Magnavox, no Blu-Ray live though) and one due in the future with better features (Vizio, live and latest firmware, etc by August?). I figure in 3 years we'll see a blu-ray player for $80 or less and that will change things a bit.
The problem still lies within movies going for $25 or more, and that Redbox doesn't carry blu-ray rentals for a dollar (atleast where I am) and overall rentals just need to be cheaper in a way.
I see digital distribution still doing better.
It's just that simple.
