Simple : I used litter of wood as a second warming system (half of my oil consumption gone).
I have some bonus for isolating my house and use an hybrid car (not yet done).
Part of the electricity excess of the sola panel can be re-sold to the national network.... etc and 25 % of the installation is repaid the first fiscal year.
...
It pays off after a couple of years already...
How complicated is that ?
