The newer plasmas have no burn in they have PixelShift. And a Antiglare Filter so less reflections. Smearing movements ? Not on my TV. The Disadvantages of Plasma are down and the Advantages are unbetable. Everyone who has seen my new Plasma said there next Tv will be a Plasma. The Picture is so much better and the disadvantages are away. The reflection is only seen in direct Sunlight. And they are almost gone with Antiglare Filter. If Plasma then Panasonic. Fact is that with Plasma you can reach a really good Picturequality unseen on LCD TVs yet. Its just better for gaming. I had (have) both LCD TV and Plasma. And I never would change back. I thought the same way before i actually tested the new Panasonic with a PS3.
Plasma technology has changed. By the way there are LCDs out there with real Glas so they reflect Light in the same way as Plasma (without Antiglare Filter). I would bet on it that everyone who has seen my TV in Action would say that Plasma is way better for gaming I am absolutely sure about that. Alot of people just prefer LCD because its cheaper but its definetly not better for gaming.
