I believe it's a safe assumption that Infamous 2 will be made with the cliffhanger and the sales of Infamous. I suppose since I asked for the better franchise it's a bit biased of a question because Uncharted 2 is well on its way and looks great while Infamous itself was released not too long ago.
Personally, I feel Uncharted compared to Infamous is much more polished.
