It makes sense, most people who bought and are buying the PS3 are buying them because they always bought a PS* console, therefore they are sequel mongers. The people who own Xbox 360 and Wiis are more likely to try new things because most probably hadn't bought an Xbox or Gamecube most likely. They probably aren't interested in a huge bevvy of new I.P. they probably want more of the same, if they wanted something different they would have likely bought a Wii or Xbox 360.
