Thinking about it, I'd be more worried about buying a 360 now than a PS3. It's one year older, and we can assume MS plans to release a new XBox sooner than Sony will release a new PS.
I wouldn't worry about game publishers... yet the PS3 has (for many people) the best line up yet. And it's been getting better and better every year.
Sony will support it for 10 years, and I don't think there'll be a new PS before 2013/2014.
So... really... It's a good time to buy a PS3. Best time was when they first cut the price. Next time they'll cut it will be the ultimate time, IMO
