Sorry guys, to put it bluntly, S-E can't just up and decide to port this game to a platform.

Retailers have to express interest in buying it, before they can order up a production run, even if the game is, basically, ready to go on the PS3 already. The PS3 having thicker RPG demographics than the 360 is unproven, even if it is more popular in Japan -- unless some PS3 RPG (like WKC, for example) shows some serious traction on the PS3, the retailers won't waste shelf/warehouse space for what they consider to be niche titles on the 360. Heck they may stop wanting to carry 360 JRPGs soon, too, as their performance hasn't been stellar this gen. WRPGs (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fable 2) seem to be emerging as the new king, from a financial perspective, and even then it might be considered sketchy.

It flopped on the 360 and on the PC. The chances of it hitting the PS3 are pretty minimal at this point.

Star Ocean will probably still make it, though, in my opinion. Its sales aren't too bad, and I would wager it'll perform decently well enough to warrant production of a port (I would bet the cross-plat development is already done, actually).
