Definitely! I'd probably buy Lost Odyssey 2 over Final Fantasy XIII if I couldn't afford them both at the time. Lost Odyssey is in my top 5 games of all time. I love my old school Jrpg's.
Final Fantasy XIII seems to be a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy VII though (My favorite game of all time).
Lost Odyssey would of had much higher reviews and sales if it had Final Fantasy slapped onto it.
