Hey I remember that interview. They were talking 'enhancement' of existing controller with Natal. So say in an FPS you could lean slightly to the right or left while sitting on your couch, and your character would lean in the game, allowing you to peak around corners, etc. (something I consider standard in an FPS from PC and still find annoyingly missing on consoles).
I guess taking all the MS messages so far what they're really saying is:
a) Natal will have games that only use it as the interface
b) the existing controller will remain in place for many exisiting genres but if sensible they'll try and integrate some Natal use
So I guess its already clear, headline catching hype aside, that Natal isn't actually going to replace the existing controller anytime soon.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
