I'm curious to see how well this can actually sell. I teach piano in a really affluent area of NY state, and a lot of my younger students (10-14) who own PS3s have absolutely no interest in this game. They also have almost no interest in Final Fantasy as a series. Think about it: only one Final Fantasy has hit in their game-playing lifetimes, and it was for a system which was already getting replaced at the time by a new generation. Weird to think about, but everyone seems to be way more into Kingdom Hearts.
I do think 100,000 is pretty huge for a few weeks, though. Downloads tend to have strong legs, and not huge first week releases.
