Ok personally while I'm glad to see monster hunter (as it's my favorite game) is being recognized i have to say....it's not an RPG whatsoever.
There are absolutely no levels in the game, your stats don't increase for killing monsters. It's an action game. The only upgrade you get is your weapons and armor and temporary upgrades from Buff items. There are no expereience points, nothing.
You do get a Hunter Rank which is only for allowing you to do certain quest, and you do get Hunter points which is pretty much the equivalent of an E-Penis but that's pretty much as close as your going to get.
