Do you not know what the term "Sony's" means? That's a possesive noun. Futhermore, in these kinds of stories, it also implies being the creator, unless explicity stated otherwise, which the story did not. So Sony made it.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
