I mean.  For comparison Final Fantasy 3 on the DS sold over 180,000 first week.

And that was the bad FF3.

Think of how many people had the DS at the time though..Although I do agree with auron, it didn't age very well imo at least.

Userbase is pretty irrelevent when it comes to big franchises.

MGS4 outsold MGS3.

FFX outsold FF13

FF7 outsold FF9
